Congrats to our Art Winners! Bolton Academy won First and Second Place at the Students Draw the Link Against Prejudice Art Exhibit (November 1, 2014)

Congrats to our 1st and 2nd place Bolton winners for Elementary schools in the Art exhibit submission for the Students Draw the Line Against Prejudice Art Exhibition that opened on Saturday (11/1/2014)! The event is sponsored by a non-profit organization, Embracing Differences. Bolton received $1,000 for 1st place and $750 for 2nd place for our Visual Arts program.

Ms. Walls submitted 3 group projects:

·         First Place: All Colors Are Beautiful. Artists: Chloe Revis, Anna Yoder, Jill Yoder, Regan Murray, Ava Osysko, Madeleine Rowe, Mather Atkinson and Aria Bauer

·         Second Place: Breaking Our Hearts. Artists: Memphis Tweedell, Devin Williams, Brandon Barstow, Layla Reeves, Luke Moffett and Madeleine Rowe.

·         A third project was submitted by artists Lillian Cohen and Kylie Nelson titled Imagine a World Without Prejudice.

 It was great to see so many Bolton families at the Exhibit supporting our school, our children and Ms. Walls. All are encouraged to view the artwork at The Arts Exchange (750 Kalb Street, SE, Atlanta, GA 30312) November 2-14, 2014, between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Embracing Differences will then be auctioning off all of the artwork submissions in mid-November.
