The Georgia General Assembly, per OCGA §20-2-84.3, requires that each local school system (APS for our community) choose their operational system model by June 30, 2015. Models will go into effect for school year 2016-2017. This will enable school systems to address Title 20 waiver issues proactively instead of seeking waivers each year from the state. Note: Our school system will submit our letter of intent to the GA DOE November 3rd – 5th once final determination is made.
