Sleep for our Hooty Owls. Part of summer fun is staying up late to gaze at the stars or catch fireflies, but now that school is back in kids need to catch the right amount of ZZZ’s to stay healthy and focused.  When children get enough sleep they can pay attention better, they can be creative and be better problem-solvers, and their bodies are more prepared to fight sickness. The National Sleep Foundation indicates that children ages 5 to 12 need 10 to 11 hours of sleep each night. For more recommendations and healthy sleep tips, visit
