Tasty Rainbows!
Rainbows are beautiful and colorful…they’re also delicious!  Think ripe red tomatoes, bright orange carrots, juicy blueberries, and crunchy green peppers. By encouraging our children to "eat a rainbow," we ensure that their growing bodies get a complete range of nutrients. Make it fun: younger kids can chart the colors they eat each day for a week and then look back and talk about favorites, and older kids can try to pick at least one produce item of each color to add to the weekly grocery list.
