News from the Nest

It’s that time of year for our parents to complete the Georgia Parent Survey provided by the state. This survey is used as part of our calculations for our School Climate Star Ratings which impacts our CCRPI score. Survey results are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis.  The Georgia Parent Survey responses will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. We are asking all parents to complete the 24 question survey which is available in both English and Spanish. Please select that option within the survey.

If you need internet or computer access, the school will be providing this access in the library on December 20 before and after the winter performance, December 21st from 7:30 to 9:00 AM and December 22nd all day until 4:00 PM.  If there is anything from the survey that you would like to discuss with administration, please email or call to make an appointment. We appreciate your time in filling out the survey.  Click the link to complete the survey: Http://gshs.gadoe.org/parents

Congratulations to all of our students!

I am sorry that we left off two of our winners of the Science Fair. There was a three way tie for 2nd place. Congrats to Walker Stevens/Olivia Massar who also achieved 2nd place.  A big round of applause to all of our winners!

Last, the field improvement has begun.  We could not be more excited about this update, and we can't wait to watch all the students play.
