The PTA nominating committee is still looking to fill a few key officer positions for the 2017-2018 school year. Participation in the PTA not only enriches the school, but also provides opportunities for parents, teachers, and students to collaborate for greater success. Involved parents and community members make the difference between a good school and a great school! See below for the positions needed for next year.
President Elect – Assists the current president and will learn the specifics of President’s tasks prior to becoming President for the 2018-2019 school year.
Treasurer Elect – Assists the current Treasurer and will learn the specifics of the Treasurer duties prior to becoming the Treasurer for the 2018-2019 school year.
VP of Fundraising – Oversees fundraising efforts, including the Fall Fundraiser and the Spirit Nights
VP of Events – Oversees family fun events and recruits volunteers throughout the school year.
We need these positions filled by Thursday, April 13, so that we are ready to roll for the 2017-2018 school year. The PTA members will be voting/electing the officers at the April 27 PTA meeting, and all nominations will be posted in the front office for 10 days prior to the meeting.
