NAPPS Meeting - Wednesday, January 31


The North Atlanta Parents for Public Schools (NAPPS) is excited to announce its next community meeting on Wednesday, January 31, at 12 pm at E. Rivers Elementary will focus on the International Baccalaureate curriculum. 

John Denine, Executive Director of Center for the Advancement and Study of International Education (CASIE) and Ovura Murphy, APS District IB Coordinator, and College and Career Readiness Coordinator will share how IB enhances students education and future opportunities. John and Thea will highlight the IB curriculum and the various resources aimed to develop inquiring and knowledgeable thinkers, inspired to make a difference at local and global levels through language and cultural understanding. IB coordinators from SMS and NAHS will be on hand to answer questions about the IB Middle Years Program and the IB Diploma and Certificate programs. 

Please join your fellow parents for this informative lunch and learn to hear about our cluster’s signature program, its proven success and why it matters for all our students. Bring your lunch, dessert will be provided by our host school
