Important Updates From Bolton Academy

A Message from Ms. Strickling
This is to share my news that after 11 years as principal of Bolton Academy, I have accepted an exciting opportunity to pursue a new professional role.  I will be leaving my position as principal and transitioning to my new role outside of the Atlanta Public School district at the end of this 2017-2018 school year.
It has been my honor to serve the students, staff and parents of the Bolton Academy school community during these past 11 years, and I know you will continue to do great things for our children.  Thank you for all that you do to make our school Bolton STRONG!

A Message from Ms. Scharff

We will greatly miss Ms. Strickling and are so thankful for her service to our community for the last 11 years!  We are sad to see her go, but wish her much happiness and success in her next venture.

As we continue our search for the next leader of Bolton Academy, please know that we will be ready for the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.  Our administration has already been busy finalizing our teacher assignments, class lists and setting our instructional goals to ensure we meet or exceed our goals outlined in our school strategic plan.  We are excited and will be ready to welcome all of our students back on August 1!

If you have any questions about the selection process, we highly encourage you to attend the Parent Input Meeting (see below) on Wednesday.  If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to me or Melanie Haley, our Parent Liaison.

The future is bright for Bolton Academy, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for each of your children.  Your support and input is invaluable, and we appreciate each of you!
